Film maker Pooja Bhatt will direct a film ‘Dhumuha’ depending on the life of famous pop star and musician Bhupen Hazarika and his link with movie manager Kalpana Lazmi.
Speaking to editors here, Pooja Bhatt said filming for the movie will begin from Jan 31 next season with Lazmi making its script.
Telling Bhupen as a myth, Pooja Bhatt said her film will high spot his role towards tune and culture.
“Bhupenda had a polyglot style, so we chose to make the film in many tongues,” she included.
The movie will be taken in Assam, Mumbai and West Bengal with a goal to be finished ahead of Feb 2015, Pooja Bhatt said.
Describing the meaning of the Assesse name ‘Dhumuha’ as ‘storm’, she stated, “by start Bhupenda was an Assamese and therefore we chose that the movie need to be free by this name. Subtitles is going to be there in English and that may be seen over the full film”.
Saying both her dad Mahesh Bhatt and Lazmi are doing work on ‘Dhumuha’, she stated the forming will be carried out relating to the needs of the tasks with stars from Bollywood, Assamese and Bengali movie field.
“I would love to be engaged with this movie because I’m a lover and a huge fan of Bhupenda, and by doing this film we’d wish to spend him an honour,” she included.
